How is this different from what I use now?
Most inspectors are running four or five tools — report software, a scheduler, an invoicing app, a separate portal, and a contract signer. SpecMind is one subscription and one login for all of it. The day-to-day difference is Snaplog: you narrate findings on site instead of typing them into a tree, and the report is close to finished when you walk out.
Who owns my reports and data?
You do. Your reports, photos, templates, and client list are yours, and they export. We never sell inspection data, and we never use your client's address or report content in our own marketing — the sample reports on this site are synthetic for exactly that reason.
What happens to my reports if I cancel?
They stay viewable and downloadable. Never holding data hostage is a rule here, not a retention tactic — a paywall can stop you creating new reports, but it never locks the ones you already delivered. Your clients' links keep working.
Is there an Android version?
In development, coming soon. Today the native field app is iOS (iPhone and iPad), and the full web app runs in any browser on any device — including Android phones — so you can work today and move to the native app when it lands.
